The new International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (ICVC) provides secure and internationally-recognised proof of your vaccination history. It features a QR code generated by linking information taken from the Australian Immunisation Register with your passport details.

The QR code is as secure as an Australian passport chip and can be used by airlines and border authorities when departing or returning to Australia.

Conforming with standards set by the World Health Organisation, the technology within this new system will be shared with countries around the world to help them develop their own internationally-recognised vaccination certificates.
