2022 International Undergraduate Scholarship

The International Undergraduate Scholarship is offered to international students from selected countries who are applying for a Bachelor degree at ECU. The scholarship offers up to 20 percent reduction in your tuition fees for the duration of your course at ECU. The scholarships are open to future international students seeking to enrol at Edith Cowan University in a Bachelor degree.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be an international student who receives an offer, or a conditional offer, to study a course at ECU in 2022;
  • Students who meet standard course entry from Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Aruba, Austria, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Bhutan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, China, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, , East Timor, Ecuador, Egypt, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, French Polynesia, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Guam, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro, Nepal, Netherlands, New Caledonia, , Northern Island, Norway, Oman, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Russian Federation, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, , Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Thailand, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, United Kingdom, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, USA, Uzbekistan and  Vietnam, are eligible for the International Undergraduate Scholarship;
  • Applicants are able to package with ELICOS;
  • Open to prospective international students (not current ECU Students, excluding those receiving the Welcome to ECU Online Scholarship);
  • Be studying at ECU Sri Lanka and transferring to commence studies on-campus in Western Australia;
  • Scholarship recipients will receive financial assistance amounting up to 20% reduction off their tuition fees for the duration of their ECU course;
  • have not been issued a COE (Confirmation of Enrolment) relating to any ECU course before 26 May 2021;
  • meet ECU’s entry requirements for the course and commence study in your course during the 2022 intake;
  • study an undergraduate degree (excluding Bachelor of Science (Nursing); Bachelor of Science (Nursing)/Bachelor of Science (Midwifery) and Bachelor of Science (Paramedical); Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Studies); Bachelor of Education (Primary); Bachelor of Education (Secondary);
  • All scholarships are awarded at ECU’s discretion. 

2022 International Australian Alumni Scholarship

The 2022 International Australian Alumni Scholarship recognises a connection international students have to Australian study. It is open to students from all nationalities who have previously completed an education program in Australia. The scholarship offers up to 20% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of your course at ECU.

Eligibility:

  • Each applicant must be an international student who, at the time of applying, has completed, or is currently enrolled and is due to complete by 31 July 2022, one of the qualifying programs listed below, and receives an offer to study a course at ECU during the 2022 intake;
  • Open to prospective international students including ECU Alumni, who have completed their original degree and receive an offer to enrol in 2022 into a new degree (for example those progressing from Bachelors to Masters courses);
  • Scholarship recipients will receive financial assistance amounting up to 20% reduction off their tuition fees for the duration of their ECU course;
  • Have completed, or due to complete by 31 July 2022, one of the following qualifying programs in Australia:
    • a recognised English course (minimum 10 weeks);
    • a Study Abroad or Student Exchange program;
    • a University Foundation program;
    • Secondary Schooling;
    • Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate degree at any Vocational Education and Training provider;
    • an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from ECU, or from another institution where the degree meets the requisite level of academic achievement as determined by ECU;
  • be an international student (not an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen);
  • between 26 May 2021 and 31 July 2022, receive an offer to study at ECU Joondalup, ECU Mount Lawley, ECU South West (Bunbury) (some components of your course may be delivered online due to travel restrictions);
  • not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship;
  • have not been issued a COE (Confirmation of Enrolment) relating to any ECU course before 26 May 2021;
  • meet ECU’s entry requirements for the course and commence your course during the 2022 intake; and
  • be entering into one of the eligible courses below.

  • All undergraduate degrees, (excluding Bachelor of Science (Nursing); Bachelor of Science (Nursing)/Bachelor of Science (Midwifery) and Bachelor of Science (Paramedical); Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Studies); Bachelor of Education (Primary); Bachelor of Education (Secondary).

Postgraduate Courses:

Arts and Humanities

Master of Professional Design; Master of Professional Communications; Master of Design.

Business and Law

Master of Business Administration; Master of Business Administration International; Master of Finance and Banking; Master of International Hospitality Management; Master of Management Information Systems; Master of Professional Accounting; Master of Project Management; Master of Supply Chain & Logistics Management; Master of Marketing and Innovation Management; Master of Human Resource Management.

2022 International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship

The International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship is offered to international students from selected countries who can demonstrate a high level of academic achievement in their previous studies. All applicants from selected countries who meet the criteria are automatically eligible for this scholarship. The scholarship offers up to 20 percent reduction in your tuition fees for the duration of your course at ECU. The scholarships are open to future international students seeking to enrol at Edith Cowan University in a bachelor degree.

  • Applicants must be an international student who receives an offer, or a conditional offer, to study a course at ECU in 2022;

  • Applicants are able to package with ELICOS;
  • Open to prospective international students (not current students, excluding those receiving the Welcome to ECU online Scholarship);
  • Scholarship recipients will receive financial assistance amounting up to 20% reduction off their tuition fees for the duration of their ECU course;
  • Must be a citizen of one of the countries identified above;
  • study onshore at ECU Joondalup, ECU Mount Lawley or ECU South West (Bunbury) Campus (some components of your course may be delivered online due to travel restrictions);
  • not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship;
  • between 26 May 2021 and 31 July 2022, be issued an offer to study an undergraduate degree;
  • meet ECU’s higher entry requirements and commence study in the course during the 2022 intake; and
  • study an undergraduate degree (excluding Bachelor of Science (Nursing); Bachelor of Science (Nursing)/Bachelor of Science (Midwifery) and Bachelor of Science (Paramedical); Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Studies); Bachelor of Education (Primary); Bachelor of Education (Secondary).
