A homestay experience is an excellent way for overseas students to improve their English and learn more about Australian culture. We understand that it is important to arrange homestay accommodation which provides a safe, comfortable and caring environment.
The homestay program at Impact English College is administered through a registered homestay agency along with a support team of bilingual counsellors at Impact. Together they are able to match you with a suitable family. Our homestay program staff are friendly, approachable and eager to provide counselling and follow-up support if you have any problems, concerns or questions.

2019 Accommodation Options:
Melbourne Homestay

Placement Fee: $250

Weekly Fee:
Single - $295
Twin - $540
Double - $540

Security Deposit: Initial 4 weeks included in offer letter.

Minimum Stay: 4 weeks

Location: Various locations throughout suburban Melbourne. All homestays are with an average travel time of around 1 hour.

Meals:2 meals during weekdays and 3 meals during weekends (breakfast & lunch may be self-serve/dinner should be a cooked
meal).

What’s included: Single clean room with bed, bed linen, towels, wardrobe, desk, lamp, chair & heating. Access to kitchen, bathroom & laundry facilities.

Phone & Internet: Phone and internet access available in all homestays, however an additional fee of $10 per week must be paid directly to the homestay.

Termination: 2 weeks’ notice required. The first 4 weeks are non-refundable.

• Student Residence & Other Accommodation

For students who would like to live independently, Impact can arrange an apartment type student residence in Melbourne or Brisbane. We can also provide recommendations for hotel or backpacker style accommodation. Please contact us for more information: homestay@impactenglish.com.au.
