CELUSA specialises in providing high-quality Academic English (AE) language preparation programs for international undergraduate and postgraduate students.

English for Academic Purposes (EAP) develops in students the English language skills required to succeed at academic study. The entry requirement is IELTS 4.5 or equivalent. Each level is studied over two 5 week modules. Students can expect their IELTS to improve 0.5 for each 10 week block of successful study.

The English for Academic Purposes Preparation Program (EAPP) prepares students to study intermediate level English. EAPP entry requirement is IELTS 4.0 or equivalent.

English for General Purposes (EGP) is designed for students who are at beginner level of English. Students will require an IELTS of 3.5 or equivalent to commence English for General Purposes.

The General English for Academic Purposes (GEAP) program is for students who wish to develop their language skills at one of the most prestigious universities in Australia. GEAP offers something for all students, from beginners with basic English skills to advanced students seeking high level tuition. The length of your program will depend on your English level, so can be from 5 to 45 weeks (enrolment is in 5 week blocks).

A direct entry pathway into further studies at the University of Adelaide for students that have not met the minimum English language entry requirements of their University program. The Pre-Enrolment English Program is offered in lengths of 10, 15, 20 and 25 weeks. The length of your program depends on your English proficiency test score and the entry requirements of your intended University program.
