Coming to Australia to study can be both an exciting and overwhelming experience for many students.
Our counsellors can help you with your decision. It’s important you know about the benefits of studying in Australia Australian society is well known for being relaxed, safe and multicultural and the people are friendly.
Australia has 6 main city destinations Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and the capital city Canberra.
All of these cities are in the top 20 most liveable cities in the world Each city destination varies in size, weather and cost of living.
The Australian Government estimates general living expenses to be $21,041 per year. A survey of our International Students revealed most spent between $20,000 and $27,000 per year. Remember to allow enough money for establishment costs.
Is it easy to get a student job?
Many students work part-time, you’re allowed to work 40 hours per fortnight on your student visa.
The minimum wage is ($19.49 per hour) the absolute lowest that an employee can be paid.
What type of student accommodation is available?
You can stay in Homestay with an Australian family stay in a student residence or rent a house with other students.
Is it easy to get around?
Each city has very good public transport and some cities have concession rates for international students.

Will I be able to find the food I like to eat?
Australia is a multicultural society with a diverse range of cuisines in most markets you can find ingredients from all over the world
What about my health and safety?
On your student visa you will have Overseas Student Health Cover that covers you if you get sick, Australia is known for being safe but you still need to be careful

What entertainment is available? Australia has a great outdoor lifestyle with many sporting options there are many events and festivals you can also go to
