Risa Sugiyama started her Australian journey in Cairns, Queensland where she stayed for 8 months. She realised, however, that living in a such a tourist destination didn't allow her to focus on her studies. She then decided to move to Brisbane and study at BROWNS for 6 months to take her English skills to the next level.
