This course is suitable for young adults who may be seeking the opportunity to study in an Australian high-school. BROWNS can assist you to achieve suitable results that meet the necessary prerequisite level of English for entry into a Year 7 – Year 12 high school course in an Australian high school. BROWNS is also able to provide students with a pathway into a nominated high school.

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world’s leading English language proficiency test. An IELTS score is required for entry into university and for immigration purposes in Australia. The BROWNS IELTS Preparation Course will help you reach your target IELTS score. Our specialist IELTS teachers have an in depth knowledge of the IELTS examination.

Beginner to Advanced (6 Levels) 20 hours in-class and 5 hours Accelerate and Homework Review 10 weeks per level Daily coursebook-based core lessons followed by afternoon Active8 skill and system based lessons Access to a variety of teachers and teaching styles Weekly revision tests and structured teacher feedback Students progress through levels as their abilities improve Students are provided with coursebooks in accordance with coursebook entitlements

Our Primary School Preparation (PSP) program will help your child become confident users of English. The course is aimed at children (aged 6-11 years old) wishing to move into an Australian Primary school, and would like to start school with a better level of English, or for children who are coming to Australia for a holiday and would like to like to learn English during their stay.

Level 4 is our upper-intermediate English level. Students completing this level have an English ability equivalent to IELTS 5.5. It allows you to move to EAP 5 or enter a TAFE diploma. Level 4 meets the English language admission requirements for diploma courses.

Level 5 is our advanced English level. Students completing this level have an English ability equivalent to IELTS 6.0. It allows you to either 1. Progress to EAP Advanced or 2. Apply to study a bachelor degree - EAP 5 meets the English language admission requirements for a bachelor degree.

Level 6 is our most advanced level. Students completing this level have an English ability equivalent to IELTS 6.5. Level 6 meets the English language admission requirements for postgraduate degrees. After successfully completing this level you can enter a Masters or PhD course. Students entering a Masters course need a minimum of a pass. Students entering a PhD course need score of 70% or higher.

Level 4 is our upper-intermediate English level. Students completing this level have an English ability equivalent to IELTS 5.5. Successfully completing General English Level 4 allows you to advance to General English Level 5.

Level 5 is our advanced English level. Students completing this level have an English ability equivalent to IELTS 6.0

Successfully completing REW’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program allows students direct entry into RMIT University without having to sit an English language test. Completing advanced plus level allows you to enter higher education programs.

Successfully completing REW’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program allows students direct entry into RMIT University without having to sit an English language test. Completing intermediate level allows you to enter EAP upper-intermediate level.

Successfully completing REW’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program allows students direct entry into RMIT University without having to sit an English language test. Completing pre-elementary level allows you to enter EAP intermediate level.

Successfully completing REW’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program allows students direct entry into RMIT University without having to sit an English language test. Completing upper-intermediate level allows you to enter EAP Advanced level or enter foundation studies or vocational education.
